I am happy to share my journey in the world of screen content, where I've had the privilege of specializing in children's media for most of my career. This focus has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of the unique dynamics and requirements of this specialized area, giving me invaluable insights into crafting engaging and educational content that truly resonates with young audiences.
However, I also recognise the importance of staying adaptable and expanding my skill set. In recent years, I have successfully transitioned into screen content for grown ups, working on a variety of projects that have broadened my horizons and allowed me to explore new creative avenues. This expansion into Scripted content has not only enriched my storytelling abilities but has also provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the broader media landscape.
By combining my extensive background in Children's with my recent work in Scripted, I bring a unique perspective to the table. I possess a deep knowledge of what captivates and engages young viewers, along with an understanding of the sophisticated storytelling techniques and audience expectations of prime time television and digital platforms.

Global Media Leader
Prior to dedicating my efforts to Carrington Media, I served as the Director of Entertainment & Specialist Content at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) for four years. During my tenure, I oversaw a wide range of diverse programming across TV, On-Demand, and National Radio, including notable titles like Mystery Road: Origin, Total Control, Stateless, Bluey, and The Newsreader.
Before the ABC, I worked overseas for prominent media organisations such as Time Warner, Zodiak Media, HIT Entertainment, LEGO Media, and the BBC.
Beyond my professional achievements, I am committed to giving back as a member of the Australian Film Institute, the British Academy of Film & Television, the Royal Television Society, the International Academy of Arts & Sciences, a Founding and Lifetime Patron of the Children's Media Foundation, and the Screen Producers Association of Australia.
I am first generation Australian and I grew up in regional New South Wales. I admire great stories that represent and reflect the variety and richness of the world's cultures and people. And I'm especially interested in content that inspires audiences curiosity and stimulates their emotions, as well as helping them to have some fun and laugh out loud!
My extensive experience across many facets of content development and commissioning have led me to a fulfilling career where I am fortunate enough to not only have influenced, but also delivered, positive change to the organisations I have engaged with.
